[Affected versions]: - Firefox 63.0.1 - Firefox 64.0b6 - Nightly 65.0a1 [Affected platforms]: - Ubuntu 16.04 x64 - Windows 10 x64 [Steps to reproduce]: 1. Activate Find Toolbar (Ctrl+F) 2. Search for a word. 3. Open a new window (Ctrl+N). 4. Open Find Toolbar again. [Expected result]: - The word you typed in step 2 is still present in the Find Toolbar. [Actual result]: - The word you typed in step 2 is not present in the Find Toolbar. [Regression range]: - I don't think this is a regression. I can reproduce the issue using Firefox from 2008 - 01 - 02. [Additional notes]: - This issue is not reproducing on macOS.

This looks like the expected result to me, we're not holding on to the find-in-page string between different windows.
Additionally, I think this is not expected behavior when looking at other windows apps. But perhaps it is, so I'm open to you re-opening this bug, Oana ;)
