[Affected versions]: - Firefox 61.0. - Firefox 62.0b2 - dev edition - Firefox 62.0a1 (2018-06-21) [Affected platforms]: - Mac OS 10.10 - Ubuntu 16.04 x64 - Windows 10 x64 [Steps to reproduce]: 1. Go to an image-rich Pdf file ( eg. http://www.cambridgeenglish.org/images/153310-movers-sample-papers-volume-2.pdf ) 2. Zoom in and out inside the pdf. sample [Expected result]: - The zoom in/out proceeds smoothly, no glitchers occurs in the process. [Actual result]: - Visual glitches are triggered at around 500% zoom level. [Regression range]: - This doesn't seem to be a regression, I see this behavior on Firefox 48.0a1 also. I will investigate this later for more accurate conclusion.

This looks like just delays in PDF rendering. Doesn't look like an APZ bug.
Component: Panning and Zooming → PDF Viewer

We first handle zoom by just using css scaling and then re-render the pdf.

Hi! I've encountered the following issue on Ubuntu 16.04 x32 and Win 7 x32: I've accessed https://bug1303534.bmoattachments.org/attachment.cgi?id=8792203 and using the Ctrl+mouse scroll played with the zoom in/out function by quickly changing the zoom level. Usually after a few tries when it reached around the 500% zoom level the page turned completely white. On Win 10 x64 the issue was reproducible for a few seconds after which the .pdf was showing at the correct zoom in level. Is the above issue related to this bug or should I file a new one?
