Environment: 
Device: Huawei Honor (Android 5.1.1);
Build: Beta 59.0b13; 

Steps to reproduce:
1. Launch Firefox and go to planet.mozilla.org;
2. Tap on three dots menu and open a new tab;
3. Verify the tabs counter icon.

Expected result:
There is a counter icon that indicates the correct number of opened tabs.

Actual result:
The counter icon is not displayed, only a black line. The counter is displayed only if the user interacts again with search bar etc. On Nightly is reproducible for every new tab opened following the steps.

Interestingly, on Samsung Galaxy S5 (Android 6.0.1) in latest Nighly, the counter icon and number are still shown, but flicker for s second (though for a moment I can see the end result as in attachment 8954331 [details]).
