[Affected versions]: - 57.0.3 - 58.0b13 Dev Edition - 59.0a1 [Affected platforms]: - Win 7 x64 - Win 10 x64 [Unaffected platforms]: - Mac OS x 10.11 - Ubuntu 14.04 x32 [Steps to reproduce]: 1. Go to https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ 2. Click on the “Create event” button (“plus” red button - bottom right) 3. Hover over the Select event color, Add attachment, Link or Remove formatting [Expected result]: - No graphical artifacts are displayed around the buttons and their labels. [Actual result]: - Graphical artifacts are displayed, their appearance seams to be blueprint fragments of the buttons labels. [Regression range]: Last good revision: 958d2a5d10091401fd5e900e8e063d21940c137e First bad revision: 7f894f791cdf170d788507d0eff30024ce699523 Pushlog: https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/mozilla-inbound/pushloghtml?fromchange=958d2a5d10091401fd5e900e8e063d21940c137e&tochange=7f894f791cdf170d788507d0eff30024ce699523 I suspect bug 1359709 or bug 1361970 might be the culprit here, but I guess Matt can tell for sure.

And here is a screenshot of the problem.

Only reproduces with layout.display-list.retain set to true, so this shouldn't be an issue for 58 once we ship.

This also reproduces with the settings button on the main page (next to the Day/Week/Month/etc dropdown).

The regression range from comment 0 is from before the retained display list pref was added, so I don't see how this can be a retained-dl issue.

I'm confused, I specifically verified in comment 2 that it only reproduces with the retained-dl pref set. Isn't that evidence enough that it is? :)

Looks like this is working on current trunk now.
