What problem would this feature solve?
======================================
The profile page on MDN has fields for many different walled garden websites, such as GitHub, Twitter, Stack Overflow, LinkedIn, Mozillians, and Facebook. But it does not have a field where you can set your own homepage.

Who has this problem?
=====================
Registered users of MDN

How do you know that the users identified above have this problem?
==================================================================
The field is missing.

How are the users identified above solving this problem now?
============================================================
I… don’t know.

Do you have any suggestions for solving the problem? Please explain in detail.
==============================================================================
Introduce a new ‘Homepage’ field.

Is there anything else we should know?
======================================
I am very sad that we are not able to support the open web and independent sites by providing this. We used to have it but spammers were taking advantage of it and it was hurting our ranking in search engines to be used by spammers in this way. Making the link no-follow did not stop spammers from abusing the site so we had to remove it :(

We considered other alternatives to try to keep the spammers away but they either had too many other downsides or were not effective.
