When this happens, please enter the address "about:memory?verbose" in the address bar and attach (using the "Attach File" link above) the output here.

Thanks for reporting, Orlando. Yikes - sure are a lot of heap-unclassified bytes in that memory report. Hey erahm, input on how we should proceed here?

I'm unable to reproduce on Linux with a local DMD build. I'll try to get a Windows build together but that might take a while. In the meantime can you try a few things: #1 - Can you provide a list of your add-ons from about:support? #2 - Try to reproduce with *all* of your add-ons disabled. It looks like you have kaspersky enabled, please see these instructions for fully disabling it [1]. #3 - If that works, selectively re-enable your add-ons until you have problems again. #4 - If that does not work please try a Firefox refresh [2] [1] https://superuser.com/a/1019474 [2] https://support.mozilla.org/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings

(In reply to Orlando from comment #6) > I reproduced it with Firefox in safe mode , all add-ons disabled ... but > same things :( Did you follow the full instructions for Kaspersky [1]? > Nom: Kaspersky Protection > Version: 5.0.141-4-20161031140250 > Activée: true > ID: light_plugin_F6F079488B53499DB99380A7E11A93F6@kaspersky.com It appears to still be enabled. It needs to be disabled outside of Firefox or it will just re-enable itself. I attempted to repro w/ a DMD build on my Windows laptop and had no luck. I also tried a fresh 53.0.3 install and couldn't repro either. [1] https://superuser.com/a/1019474

Yes Eric I followed the full instructions for all add-ons, and for Kaspersky too. The list of my add-ons from "about:support" I provided was done before I run Firefox in safe mode ! Best :)

Also were you able to try a Firefox refresh [1]? We've had some luck with that fixing issues like this in the past. [1] https://support.mozilla.org/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings

Just to try to summarize what we have here: 1. Orlando has done a Refresh 2. Orlando has disabled all extensions 3. When Orlando visits https://appleid.apple.com/#!&page=signin, despite the refresh and no add-ons, heap unclassified use grows over time. Is that correct?

Hm, nothing stands out for me - except that e10s is disabled by add-ons, despite no incompatible add-ons being listed. I assume you have a separate Kaspersky application running, besides the disabled Protection add-on, right? Does it have some kind of browser integration setting or web monitoring setting, and is it enabled?

I have Kaspersky Internet Security. When installed, Kaspersky Protection add-on is added to Firefox and/or Chrome. But I can disable it when I want, and it was here disabled when I run Firefox in Safe Mode. That's all ! Best, Orlando

I don't but just this morning I was talking to Brindusa about testing things with AV software installed so maybe she knows?

I don't think there's much we can do here until we get STR that work for us. Closing for now.

Hi all, Thank you very much for your attention and messages. I have installed the newest version of Kaspersky Internet Security (2018), and my problems are now resolved. Perhaps they were due to the previous version of Kaspersky(cf. Brindusa Tot). Best, Orlando
