Details

[Notes]:
- See screenshots attached
e.g. 1. http://imgur.com/a/6Q3af
e.g. 2. http://imgur.com/a/n9q1G

[Affected versions]:
- latest Nightly 51.0a1 (2016-09-07)
- latest Aurora 50.0a2 (2016-09-07)
- Firefox Release 48.0.2

[Affected platforms]:
- Win 10 Pro, x64

[Steps to reproduce]:
Prerequisites: if you don't have the Unity Web Player Plug-in, install it from here: https://unity3d.com/webplayer
1. Launch Firefox
2. Access a game that runs on Unity Web Player Plug-in
(e.g. 1. http://chromianwars.com/demo/)
(e.g. 2. http://www.pixelcrushers.com/dialogue_system/demos/ufps/)
3. Click Allow and Remember
4. Play the game
5. Press F11 to turn on Fullscreen mode
6. Again, press F11 to turn off Fullscreen mode.

[Expected result]:
- The game renders back to normal size.

[Actual result]:
- The game window is not properly rendered, the top side of it covers the URL bar.

[Regression range]:
- I will verify ASAP if this is a regression.

[Additional notes]:
- On Firefox Release 48.0.2, the rate of reproducing the bug is very low, but the issue is still there (2/20).
- On Internet Explorer is not reproducible.
- Not applicable on Ubuntu and MAC OS X
- Use only x32 Firefox builds
This sounds like something can be used for url-spoofing.

Does enabling/disabling e10s affect the result?

Yes it does. I verified on latest Nightly 52.0a1 (2016-09-21), and with e10s disabled, the issue is not reproducible anymore.

We aren't going to spend time fixing this, because we are going to disable non-Flash plugins (all windowed plugins) in 52.
