Build ID: 20160623154057

Steps to reproduce:

Every time this occured I was browsing with multiple (around 10) tabs open. In general, at least an hour of continuous browsing passed before the memory spikes happened. This happened to me before with different browser configurations, with all addons disabled and different user profiles. At the moment, the only addon I use is the Kaspersky security toolbar.

Actual results:

Firefox's memory usage rose to 1200mb, affecting performance.
Hi, can you please provide some URLs? I am trying to determine the best component to place this as I also have Kaspersky and I am unable to easily reproduce this. Are sites visited graphical video/images... or is simply something as simple as searching that causes this. Thanks

I suspect the memory usage is connected to graphically demanding websites. Having these news websites opened at the same time causes my memory usage to surpass 1000mb (I have enabled the Kasperky addon but turned off the protection on the toolbar by the way):

So there's at least one ghost window, explicit is way higher than heap-allocated, and it looks like Kaspersky is injecting itself as a principal into anonymouse sandboxes?

dmailn is it possible for you to test with the Kaspersky add-on completely disabled?

Closing for now, dmailn@yahoo.de please feel free to reopen if you are able to test with Kaspersky disabled.
