Email sent to :ewong for further instructions. Loaning machines: - b-2008-ec2-ewong Hi Edmund, I am going to assign this to you to keep track of the loan. When you are finished with the loan forever, please comment stating so here in the bug, and mark the bug as RESOLVED. By the way, now that this aws instance has been created, starting and stopping it can happen in a flash! If you are not going to be using this machine for multiple hours, let us know in this bug and we can stop it. Comment again when you want it started back up. * For faster turnaround, ping #releng (look for nick with 'buildduty')

Noticed that b-2008-ec2-ewong is online for quite some time now, so I was wondering if you still need it. Thanks!

I adjusted the VPN ACL to add ewong@pw-wspx.org and remove ewong@mozilla.com from vpn_releng_loan. Apparently aobreja needed to do the same 24 hours ago. If it happens again there must be some sysadmins cron which is modifying the group membership.

just got disconnected again. methinks there's a cron job that's overwritting the acl list.

Is anyone available to reboot this loaner? I can't seem to be able to vnc into it. Just basically stuck at the "Negotiating Protocol Version.."

@ewong: Is this loaner still needed, or the instance can be terminated and removed from inventory?

Can someone give b-2008-ec2-ewong a poke? Cannot connect to it via vnc or rdp.

Recent changes for the machines to use jumphost created this issue,in Bug 1401229 there was a special group created for the loaner to not use the jump host but since this machine was older this configuration was not added so I manually added the security group and now everything is working as intended.

Hello Edmund, As there are roughly 6 months since we loaned this to you, I would like to verify if you still need the loaned machine. If you still need it, that's no problem! Simply let us know that you still work on it, if not please let us know the machine is not needed anymore, so we know to reclaim it. Thank you.

Can someone clarify which VPN I need to connect to to connect to this machine? I just changed the VPN bundle and I can't seem to be able to connect to this loaner. Thanks
