crash-stats is indicating a higher crash right on 44, and most of those seem to be coming from OOM-related issues. I am guessing that it could be more fallout from bug 1182665, where we increased the tile dimensions for some devices.

I think we should try flipping layers.tiles.adjust=false for a cycle to see if things improve.

Jamie this is only for 44 to see if it will reduce the amount of OOM we are seeing

This issue could not be reproduced in today's test session on 44.0b7, but I'll leave this issue opened and will mark it as verified after we receive more data from the crash stats.
