User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/44.0.2403.155 Safari/537.36 OPR/31.0.1889.174 Steps to reproduce: 1. Open any page 2. hold CTRL button and click link on page Actual results: New tab is opened. User is moved to new opened tab Expected results: New tab should be opened in the background. The user should stay on present tab. It works in this way in any other browsers. I can notice, that also option to open new tab in background is removed from menu (when perform left mouse button click) Is rather usability issue. Version is: 40.0.3
I've found solution. in 'abount:config' i've changed flag browser.tabs.loadInBackground to 'true'. But I think, it should be set to true by default :-)

Component: Untriaged → Keyboard Navigation
:-) I hope someone change this flag to true by default :-) It was changed automatically after update from 40.0.2 to 40.03. This is common behavior in all browsers, that new page appear in new tab in background. But, right, it works now :-)
Yeeiy. nice.. sorry about this but guess what? you can always leave your feedback to the developers on https://input.mozilla.org/en-US/feedback. Feel to submit another bug if you have any issues in future. Marking this as fixed.
