The current position could be dead because the entire app went away and the automove on hide failed. When we show something again, we should automove to the first item in the screen. The main case for this is in FxOS. When the screen is off, the #screen element gets display: none. The automove-on-hide fails, and then when the user turns the screen on again the vc is in a dead position. Besides moving the vc to a live position, it would be nice to pro-actively announce the fact that something is finally showing again.
