User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:37.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/37.0
Build ID: 20150331042127

Steps to reproduce:

- On firefox 37.0 (36 was working fine)
- Enable the "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page" option in the advanced config options
- Open a shortened url link (e.g. anything on twitter)

Actual results:

I got redirected silently.

Expected results:

I should need to click through the warning dialog to validate the redirection.

Summary: "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page" option does not work anymore → "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page" should work for HTTP status code 301, 302 and the like
Attached file meta refresh.html
There are three redirection methods:

1. Meta refresh. This is the one and only kind of redirection handled by the aforementioned preference. It still works just fine, unless you're using one of the test versions of Firefox with e10s enabled [1]. I've attached a testcase so you can try it out.

2. HTTP status redirect. This is the case for shortened URLs, which is what's been reported as not working here. Example: http://mzl.la/1BAQNzf You can install an add-on to get a warning for such redirects [2]. I can find no bug that specifically covers this situation, so I'm changing the summary of this one.

3. JavaScript redirects [3].
