In release, Ctrl-A works to bring you to the beginning of lines in text
fields and the like (e.g., the URL bar).

In Aurora, I am seeing fairly frequent failures in both the text area
(where I originally thought it was a bug in the site) and in the URL bar
(which must be some kind of bug).

Note that in the same instance of Firefox it can simultaneously work and
not work. Right now, I have one tab with a URL bar where it works and
another where it does not. Even in contexts where it works, Ctrl-A still
works.

Mistakenly filed against Firefox 38 and should be instead 38 Branch. Sorry for the spam. dkl

I see this on Nightly now. It happens quite frequently
