dev-master1 was moved to dev-master2, but my account pkewisch@mozilla.com doesn't have access to this machine.

I would like to request access to dev-master2, along with the basic setup for a buildbot master doing Thunderbird beta builds. I will file a new bug for slaves afterwards.

I'm afraid we can't do much without more details.

What is/was dev-master1? What are the fully qualified hostnames involved here? Do you know what they are managed by? I see dev-master2.bb.releng.use1.mozilla.com in inventory, perhaps that?

I have no idea what is involved for buildbot, I suspect you'll need to talk to releng.

Yes, reading emails it seems dev-master2.bb.releng.use1.mozilla.com is the correct host, but thats all I really know. Putting :coop on CC since he sent the reminder to move stuff off of dev-master1 (which I also missed doing, unfortunately).

I can't find any infra puppet management for that host, sadly. I think we need further information, hopefully :coop can help with that.

This is definitely a releng bug, Moving to Loan Requests, coop or jordan should be able to action it tomorrow. I'm unclear on if your masters got moved or if we need to redo the creation work :/

I've updated LDAP to point to the new host, dev-master2, so you should be able to login now.

I've also recreated basic build and test masters under /builds/buildbot/pkweisch and updated the references in slavealloc. You need to modify the masters to match what you had before. 

It might make sense for you to use user repos (or a github fork?) of buildbot-configs if you end up modifying it a lot, or are worried about losing changes in the future.
