Lasted six weeks, but now it takes two jobs, disconnects in the middle of each of them, and then sits idle until it's rebooted to take two more, disconnecting in the middle of each. The boy ain't right.

i did another round of diagnostics and noticed that a surface scan took 3x longer than it should. ive opened #CQH-763-14485 for a drive replacement. after replacing the drive i'll see if there is a speed improvement. if this doesnt resolve the issue, we'll drop off the blade at iX for a burn-in.

swung by iX to pick up the RMA after work. i'll swap the drive when i get back to the DC on Thursday.
replaced drive, tested it and it was definitely faster at performing a surface scan. host has been reimaged and is back online.
