Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/37.0.2062.122 Safari/537.36 OPR/24.0.1558.64 Steps to reproduce: I assigned the single keys z and x to Back and Forward. (like Opera) Actual results: The shortcuts work, but I can no longer type with z and x in Firefox. Restting the shortcuts made the keys work as normal. Expected results: It should still be possible to use these keys for typing.

How did you "assign the keys"? Firefox doesn't ship with the builtin ability to change keyboard shortcuts, and this is likely a bug in whatever software you used to set these keys.

Yes, you're right. Turns out I'm using an addon called Customizable Shortcuts. Sorry for the trouble ...

No worries, now we can needinfo Tim - who wrote this add-on - to see what he can do to fix this. :-)

I don't have time to work on this currently but will probably accept pull requests :) Filing an issue is also appreciated and I may fix it some time in the future...
