STR:
1. Insert a PIN-protected SIM card into a Firefox OS phone that has the screen reader running.
2. Start the phone.
3. Unlock.
4. The SIM card password prompt appears.

Note: Focus first goes to the password field, but then gets redirected to the heading at the top, so the keyboard disappears.

5. Swipe or touch the password text.
6. Double-tap to activate.

Expected: Password field should receive focus, keyboard should come up.
Actual: Password field briefly receives focus, but then focus gets redirected to the heading of the dialog again. Keyboard may briefly appear, but is gone again after the focus gets redirected.

I cannot unlock the SIM card with the screen reader running on my Flame device ATM.
Further information: During FTU, there is a different screen asking for the password, and that one works. That one also does not have role "key" for the digits, one has to touch, then double-tap each key to enter it. But this one definitely has no such odd focus jumps and loss of keyboard.
Works correctly in latest versions of Gaia Master. Must have got fixed by some recent change.

This got re-broken some time between August 19 and August 22, 2014. The August 20 and August 21 builds were busted completely, so I don't know on which day the breakage occurred again. The keyboard now doesn't disappear, but screen reader focus constantly gets redirected to the window heading again, so a key can either not be entered, or the first key one lands on is entered instead of the one one actually explores to. Reopening.

This has been fixed recently by editing mode and keyboard persistence bug fixes in AccessFu and Gaia respectively.
