Pixel 2 with Android P 

This happened several times today. Steps:
- use other app
- White screen appears 
- tap System recent apps button

Actual Results:
- a white screen appears and if you tap recent apps to see which app caused it - Nightly will be displayed 

Expected Results:
- no white screen should appear while using other app nor nightly

Note
- after cleaning my app I only got it once
- monitoring it now to get a log

That might be the cause indeed  - I would let this open for the second issue - with the blank page and the first to fix the notificaiton.

To be clear, I too am getting this using a Verizon branded Samsung Galaxy S9+ (Android 8.0)

If this is down to the crash reporter, the crash that is happening in the background is linked to bug 1476754

I suspect that this might have also been fixed by the patch for Bug 1476676 as Bug 1476754 .
Can you please check if this is still reproducing or has been fixed?

I disabled the location service and had no issue s- will enable it again and watch a few hours of activity and comment back
